I have recently begun experimenting with Adobe Firefly, a generative AI for artists and creators. Whether or not you are for or against using AI in content creation, like it or not I believe it is here to stay. I am also a firm believer of embracing new technology as I would rather know how to use it than not. With that said, I think using Firefly to create art is fun and entertaining and will only use it for that purpose.

Prompt: A quartz crystal sparkling in the sunlight

To use Adobe Firefly just click here and sign up. They have a free plan and an option to include it in subscriptions to other products such as Adobe Photoshop. When using Adobe Firefly, you will have many styles and options to choose from. And when it generates images, you get four for each generation. I chose the one I liked the best for the above (this was hard!)

In the screenshot below, you can see what the dashboard looks like and the other three images.

Adding some extra pizazz

The next four photos are with the same prompt but with different effects added. The effects I used are:

– Bokeh effect
– Digital art
– Beautiful (concept)

I also set the tone to Vibrant Colors, the lighting to Dramatic Lighting, and the camera angle to Closeup. Below are the results

I wanted a more cooler tone such as blues and violets mixed in with the warmth so these next four photos have the same prompt sub different selections

– Bioluminescence effect
– Tone: Vibrant colors
– Camera angle: Close up

Below are the results
